Friendship Bracelet Maker Review

It is simple yet brilliant. While babysitting his granddaughters they asked David to make friendship bracelets with them. This is a trend that has a recent surge in popularity as moms teach their kids this age old tradition with a bit of nostalgia. Friendship Bracelets are seen all over TV, and Tweens everywhere are making them. The process of making them involves securing a knot (online instructions will tell you to pin to your pants or hold with a nail in the wall!) and keeping the strings in order while knotting the threads. After one experience with the grandkids David decided their must be a better way!

I bought the "My Friendship Bracelet Maker" for my daughter's 9th birthday. Which in fact is TODAY! She opened it up and was so excited. She loves to make things and this is perfect. A great way to teach her how without all that string getting in the way. I wish I had one when I was a girl. I remember using a safety pin and either attaching it to my jeans or comforter. LOL She got hers this past Friday. An early gift at her "friend party", so we tried it out last night. It was so easy to show her how to make it with the help of the adorably made bracelet maker. It comes with simple basic instructions and thread too. Which by the way is stored neatly below. Love that! Very handy. She picked out her thread, tied a knot in the top, added it to the cute butterfly holder and spread out all the string. I love that each strand has it's own section because it helps the kids remember what strand comes next. Once you get to the end, just simply start at the 1 strand again and so on. When you are done (don't forget to measure your wrist) either keep it for yourself or give to a girlfriend. I think this is a great tool for young girls who love to make their own friendship bracelets. These would make great gifts and fun birthday parties too! How fun would it be to have a party and each girl gets to make their own bracelet as a favor. I love the Friendship Bracelet Maker and just had to share it with all of you!
