Smoked S'mores

Our family loves S'mores! I am sure your's does too! Well at a recent get together (father's day) we decided to make some. However, we did not have a camp fire handy. ;-) My dad was smoking the main course, so we thought we would try to smoke some s'mores. It worked!

| How to make them |

You'll need, graham crackers, chocolates (we chose dark chocolate), marshmallows and some foil.
Take a square of foil and stack up your s'more. Graham cracker on the bottom, chocolate, marshmallow and cracker on top. Do not cook any of it. Close up the foil and make some more.
When your meal is finished and you are ready for dessert, place the foil packets on the smoker. Leave them there for about 8-10 minutes on a high temp.
Take them out. Smoosh, yes I said Smoosh, them down and pass them out to enjoy. They will be a hit!

Sprayable Lotion | A Tutorial

Have you thought about sprayable lotion before? I received some for review a while back. I loved it. Great for the kids too! When I ran out, I started thinking about making my own out of some of my favorite lotions.

What I love about the sprayable lotions...

~ They don't go on too heavy ~
~ I can buy one bottle of lotion and make it last ~
~ Now I can keep a small sprayable bottle in my purse and car ~
~ Kids can take the small bottles to school ~
~ Kids don't make a mess (mine always squeeze out too much lotion) ~
~ Makes it easy for constant use when using for eczema, not the heavy creams ~
~ Easier to use ~

| How to make your own |

Start with these ingredients....Your favorite lotion, a bowl and blender, spray bottle, funnel.
My squirt bottle was able to hold 27 oz. (Old febreeze bottle) So I added about 23 oz. of water in my mixing bowl. I squeezed about a 1/4 of the bottle of lotion in too! Mix with blender. Add lotion if you want a thicker consistency.
Now just use your funnel and add it to your squirt bottle.
Write lotion on the bottle, so no one accidentally squirts it where it doesn't belong. LOL Like your furniture or hair.
Your lotion will easily spray out. We love it! Hard to tell in the photo below, but I sprayed it about 3 times here. Rubbed it in and it was light and moisturizing.
It doesn't make my hands feel slimy or full of gunk like some of the thicker lotions make you feel. Some make me want to wash my hands after putting it on and what's the point. Right? Anyway, I hope you like this!

Tara's | Cakes | Photo
I made this cake for my family a few weeks ago per request. LOL It was a quick bake late in the evening because they were really craving a piece of cake. I also quickly slathered on the frosting and used my knife to give it some little peaks. I don't care for frosting much, but this sure looks tasty. ;-) I am hoping to pin some of your tasty recipes for my family. Looking forward to your entries.
Jamie's | Cakes | Photo

I made this cake for Micah's 3rd birthday. I bet you can't tell what he loves! I love to make cakes, and cupcakes and decorate them for the person who is receiving it! I have never had any formal training or taken any classes but that is something I would LOVE to do someday. But for now, I'll stick to the simple to make/design cakes! And I love making the cake part different from just a box mix too (when I have the time) but this one was a box mix, afterall we had just moved two weeks before I made this! Can't wait to see your cakes!
