I received many of the FruitaBu Fruit Snacks thanks to FruitaBu. We tried 3 different flavors of "Fruit Rolls." Apple, Strawberry and Grape. YUM! Another great product we received was their"Original Fruit Leathers." They were delicious too! With 7 flavors to choose from, you will find many favorites. And I can't forget the "Fruit Flats."Another great product from FruitaBu with 5 flavors to choose from.

I usually buy bulk, generic fruit snack for my kids and they don't really care for them. They love these! And what a great way to get them to eat their serving of fruit for the day. They even grab them on the way out to dance class for a quick snack. I love that their first choice is a FruitaBu Fruit Snack and not chips or candy.

Things that I love....
  • They are all-natural, no sugar added Fruit Snacks!
  • Great for on-the-go, in a hurry snack grabbing!
  • Their website provides a lot of great information. Daily serving info, Nutrition and more!

safetytat Feature

Have you ever lost your child, even for a moment?

Put the odds in your favor for a safe return with SafetyTat, child ID tattoos

I was surfing around last night and found the coolest website for kids tattoos. I know many people don't care for these temporary tattoos but I think you will make an acception when you see these. They are "The Safety TaT" the tat that brings kids back. There are so many to choose from too. I am used to making up a new badge every time we head out on a trip. I take a recent picture of my kiddos and on the back add our phone numbers as well as grandparents phone numbers in case we cannot be reached. Laminate then and pin them on. LOL We have gotten many great comments on this. But I think I may try this out sometime. Less chance of the kiddos dropping or ripping off like the badges. And it also won't be an annoyance for the kids. They will forget they are even there!

Check them out. They will last up to 2 weeks unless you remove them yourself in the bath and some come with special marking pens to add in your phone number. They are available in 30-60-90-120 packs and start at only
$19.95

Tats for....

  • Going on a trip
  • Allergies
  • Disabilities
  • Medial Alerts
  • School Trips
  • Tween Tats
  • Blank for adding numbers
  • Travel packs
  • Multi-Design Packs
  • & more
Another good tip for going out with the family.... with a family of 6 we try to dress all in the same color when we are on vacation. It is so much easier to keep track of everyone. So everyday we are there, I make sure I pack similar colors for each family member. If you want to get real creative, which I tend to do often LOL, I make shirts for each of us. For example, Daddy, Mommy, Big Brother, Big Sister, Little Sister and Littlest Sister. That is always fun too.

DIY Glitter Girl Hairspray Tutorial

I have bought a lot of glitter spray over the years for my 3 girls and their friends when I realized ummm, I can make this myself. Taking just a few items, you can make many different combinations of glitter hairspray for each holiday or any day.

What you will need....
  • Small Spray Bottle with larger inner tube (less chance of glitter getting stuck)
  • Any liquid hairspray (I like Dove)
  • Ultra fine glitter in your choice of color (the more colors the better)
  • Ribbon and labels for decorating your bottle
  • A few fun loving girls to spray your glitter on. LOL

How to make this FABULOUS Glitter Girl Hairspray
  1. Pour your hairspray in the small spray bottle
  2. Add ultra fine glitter ( Just enough to make it look like its snowing in there. If you add too much it will clog up. I never measure really because I always use different size bottles. So just judge it your self and if you add too much, just try again)
  3. Decorate your Glitter Girl Hairspray bottle and it's ready to use.
FYI ~ Remember to shake well before each use or you will clog up the inner tube.

A few ideas how to use .....
  • White ~ Everyday
  • Pearl ~ Weddings or everyday
  • Pink ~ Valentines Day, Birthdays, March of Dimes Girls, Everyday
  • Pastels ~ Easter, Spring, Parties
  • Green ~ St. Patrick's Day (Go Irish) LOL
  • Red, White & Blue ~ July 4th
  • Orange ~ Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving
  • Red ~ Valentines Day, Christmas
  • Red & Green ~ Christmas
  • Brown, Orange & Green ~ Earth Day
  • Blue ~ March of Dimes Boys, Ocean Outings
  • Purple ~ Everyday Purplicious Day
  • Rainbow ~ For those funky days
  • BASICALLY BE CREATIVE ~ DID I MISS ANY? LET ME KNOW. LOL

Giraffalaff Limbo Review

It's the hilarious, bend over backwards game!
GIRAFFALAFF’s got himself all tangled up again. You’ll need to crouch, duck, scoot and crawl your way under him as the music plays. But watch out- he’s extremely ticklish! If you knock him down you’ll get goofy giggles going and be out of the game. How low can you go before GIRAFFALAFF lets his laughter loose?

Includes Giraffalaff plaque with 2 clips, 3 foam tubes, electronic module with support tube, 8 leaf bar supports, two 3-piece limbo poles, two bases, spinner and instructions.

Requires 2 C batteries (not included).
For 2 or more players. Ages 3 and up.

I received Giraffalaff Limbo thanks to Hasbro games. Your kids will have a blast playing with this kids game. Giraffalaff Limbo is great for game night at home, birthday parties, playdates and so much more. It plays music, which is adorable and if you knock over the giraffe, he giggles. So no more, "I didn't touch it!" LOL You know because sometimes kids, as innocent and sweet as they are, just don't want to admit they touched the bar. The best part is the kids have so much fun with the giggles, that they don't even care that they didn't win. They are too busy laughing. My kids love playing with this kids game and yours will too!

What I love....
  • It's fun for all ages. Yes! Mom and Dad you will have fun with this game too!
  • The music and giggles make this kids game so fun.
  • Your kids will enjoy playing this together and you will love hearing them giggle. (Get the video camera out. Trust me! It's priceless)
  • Giraffalaff Limbo is affordable. Only $29.99 WOW! Find it Here.
  • They even have a video. Go Here and click on the video tab to see how much fun you can have with this game.

Delish-i-ous Cooked Asparagus

How to Cook Asparagus

My husband I have recently started the lifestyle change
that we've been after for years and years.

It hasn't been as bad to eat healthy foods
as I thought it would be.
We're eating many more fresh fruits and veggies
and still get our potatoes and bread from time to time as well.

One thing that he was more willing to try than I was,
was asparagus.
I had never bought asparagus before...
to which my husband commented,
"are we grown up now?"

So, I thought that since I had no idea how to fix
asparagus to be edible maybe someone
else out there in bloggy land might benefit from
a little lesson in asparagus cooking as well.

Start by washing the asparagus.
The asparagus has a natural breaking point at the bottom.
Find that point and break the ends off each piece.
Or you can find that part on one and cut the others.
Lay the asparagus on a cookie sheet or roasting pan.
Sprinkle some olive oil on the pieces and make sure each one gets coated.
Then sprinkle on some sea salt and add some cracked pepper.
Put the pan in a preheated 450 degree oven
and roast for 5 minutes for crisp-tender asparagus,
8 minutes for softer asparagus.
Enjoy!

Variations:
You could also sprinkle with parmesean cheese once its out of the oven.
You could grill the asparagus or also boil it on the stove.
