Not sure if it is an actual thing but that's what they called it. You butter the bread and rip it into pieces, then fry. Once lightly crisp you break your eggs over it and cook until the egg is cooked. Tastes so good.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00942470701856425703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6664928030491155818.post-84805068566350735102012-05-14T23:30:52.907-07:002012-05-14T23:30:52.907-07:00This reminds me of swiss special my dad and nana u...This reminds me of swiss special my dad and nana used to make. Yep....served them to my in-laws with strawberries and whipped cream for desert one evening when it was too hot to turn on the oven for shortcakes. They were better than shortcake..still warm...so yummy and my in-laws were happy to try something they'd never heard of! So, you know I'll give this a try too!Danni@SiloHillFarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13220897952708626415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6664928030491155818.post-27338515128649566352012-05-14T09:26:22.187-07:002012-05-14T09:26:22.187-07:00Oh what a great idea, this looks so yummy!
